IYA 2009 starts in Prague!

UNESCO declared 2009 as the International Year of Astronomy (IYA 2009) and the initiation of IYA 2009 held on Wednesday, Jan 7 on the Old Town Square in Prague!

Afternoon on piazze the New National Theater scene started exhibition organizers Space - Adventure discoveries. It consists of 48 large photographs of space objects from the solar system and distant universe. The author of the exhibition are astronomers from Spain and Mexico. Will be open until 31 March to the Czech metropolis will be moved to many other countries in the world.

The exhibition accompanying under Palouše poems from the collection of Jan Neruda Songs space, as well as snippets of poems Otokar Březina, Nobel laureate for literature Jaroslav Seifert and Vladimir Holan.
