Prague jewels of Central EuropeThis soul inspiring stroll will allow you to partake in Prague's silent story: it's architecture, it's unique culture and spirit, the city's legends, and when we pause to rest (every 1,5 hour), it's pleasant cafes. We'll begin our walk at the top of Wenceslas Square at the National museum, scene of many historical events such as the Velvet revolution in 1989. We'll catch the tram pass the New Town, the National theatre get on funicular railway up the "hill of lovers" - Petřín. We'll disembark directly in front of Prague's "Eiffel tower".
After a short walk down a marvelous lane we'll arrive at a most impressive panorama where you will gaze at "the city of one hundred spires". You'll know why all of Central Europe has named it so! This view will leave you breathless! We'll then move on to the Strahov monastery. It's time to relax for a moment. We'll stop for our first complimentary drink or snack. Make sure you speak to your guide about Prague's night life! Our guide will have some hot tips for those who wish to experience something extra special! We'll continue on down a lane that will take you back 300 years back in time, with no sign of the modern world. This is definitely the most romantic part of Prague. We'll arrive at Loretto with its magical treasure, picturesque new world, Prague castle and cathedral, interior of St. Nicolas church, café, Charles bridge, Clementinum... Our walk will end up in the Old Town Square – the historical heart of Prague, enjoy the rest of the day! Lesser Town highlights (Prague Card)Petřín View Tower, Mirror Maze, Historic Pharmacies, Waldstein Riding School, Comenius MuseumLesser Town – the area under the Prague Castle is without the doubt most romantic part of Prague, quiet but majestic. We will use funicular railway to get to the Petřín Hill with the copy of Eiffel Tower and enjoy the best views over the city, we all can have fun in Mirror Maze... We'll walk down to the famous Nerudova street, mention many interesting details from Middle Ages life style, learn about enlightment of streets, sewerage system, postal systém, and many piquant details from medieaval time... We cannot miss the interior of the most valuable baroque church – St. Nicolas – geniously build by Mr. Dienzenhofer, Lurago. Afterwards we can relax in Waldstein gardens and riding school – Waldstein palace – the seat of Czech government was built on area of 27 houses, belonged to one of the most powerful man in 30 years war. Our walk will end up in Comenius museum, named after the teacher of nations – Jan Amos Comenius.
