Prague castle - St. Vitus cathedral - Royal gardens
Over 1000 years of European and Czech history is written and hidden in walls of the magnificent construction above the river. Not by chance this place was chosen by 2 Emperors of Holy Roman Empire and was even in plans of Adolf Hitler...
After a short tram ride to Royal Garden we'll introduce dynasties chronologically, they created and influenced the development of Prague, Czech lands and Europe. Inside the Cathedral – the place of coronations and burial site of statesmen you'll learn about its mysteries and builders.

We'll not forget to show you the hidden spots as "spheres of fate",
over the 3 courtyards tell exciting stories of kings and presidents
(incl. Václav Havel).
We'll end up in the famous Golden Lane – as the legend has it, the home
of alchemists, visit the exhibition of old weapons and clothes. After
this walk you can hang up around the Castle area or walk down with us.

Meeting point
Meeting point is the Astronomical clock in the Old Town Square, if you would wish so, our guide can collect you at your hotel for an extra charge 50,- crowns per person.
You can book your walk via our web-form or just turn up 5 minutes beforehand. Tickets for walks are available from your guide, info centres or at your hotel.
How to recognize us? We are holding up an umbrella - sand colour with the name of the walk.
Pick up at your hotel: We are happy to collect you at your hotel and bring you to the meeting point, in case you are not sure, how to get there. The pick up time is one hour before the tour starts, it is neccessary to book pick up 1 day in advance.

We'll explore the St. Vitus Cathedral, the symbol of Czech spiritual life, the place of coronations and burial site of statesmen, introduce old ceremonies, mention its builders and its mysteries. In Old Royal palace you'll have a chance to admire late gothic Vladislav hall – the first large hall in Europe built without supporting pillars.
You'll hear the legend about St. Wenceslas in St. George basilica, Lobkowicz palace hides the most precious collection of artefacts from the Czech history... We'll end up in the famous Golden Lane – as the legend has it, the home of alchemists. We reccommend to plan your day to have time enough to hang up around the Castle Area to relax in Royal Gardens...
