PRAGUE DANCE FESTIVAL

The International contemporary dance festival Tanec Praha (Dance Prague) was opened by the performance ‘Good Morning, Mr Gershwin’, performed by the famous French ensemble Montalvo-Hervieu in Karlín Music Theatre on 2nd and 3rd June. Now, you can enjoy great dance on your trip in Prague.

“Every year we introduce one world recognised ensemble, and no doubt that Montalvo-Hervieu is a good example.It is to be an exceptional experience, the top event of the Biennale de Lyon 2008 will undoubtedly become the top event of the Czech dance season,” says Yvona Kreuzmannová, the festival director”. This is the first time the ensemble is visiting the Czech Republic-Prague However, the whole programme is going to be interesting.

Until the end of the festival, on 28th June, Prague and other nine Czech cities will host performances by more than twenty world ensembles, from Brazil, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Austria and other countries. Other interesting ensembles include Slovakian ElleDanse.
