The Black Rose complex of buildings consists of two buildings: land-registry number 853 Na Příkopě 12 and land-registry number 894 Panská 4, Prague 1 - Nové Město, connected by an arcade which expands upwards to two floors of galleries. The building Na Příkopě is from the 1840s and is distinguished by an interesting romantic façade according to the design of Jan David Frenzl. The alterations to the interiors are from the year 1880 and are by Josef Fanta. In 1932 a vestibule with shopping and operational spaces consisting of through Arcade from Na Příkopě street to Panská street was built according to the project of the important functionalist architect Oldřich Tyl. One point of particular interest is the interior of the Black Rose Arcade with a glass-concrete vault and galleries.
The Black Rose Arcade has thus turned into a true shopping centre which began to fully serve visitors in November 1998. There are brand-name shops on all floors, on the ground floor and first floor visitors will find a great café, and on the highest floor there is an excellent pizzeria. The Black Rose Shopping Centre has thus become a sought-after centre for shops and services, both for the inhabitants of Prague and for its domestic and foreign visitors, and it has become the seat of renowned firms.

Vinohradsky Pavilon
On  November 1994, Prague's new shopping centre, the Vinohradský Pavilon, opened its gates to its first visitors. New, yet at the same time historical.
Because although the interior has been completely changed, the Pavilon could not overlook its original name - Vinohradská tržnice (Vinohrady market hall).
One of the three surviving historic market halls in the capital (the others are in the Old Town and Smíchov).
