We would like to be helpful to you to spend a charming day in our fairy-tale capital, to taste from each kind of art. Our excellent guide will introduce the city at first, describe its development in medieval Ungelt, by St. Jacob's church – the second largerst with amazing interior, will not forget to mention very unique specialy Czech style – Cubism, Municipal House – fascinating Art Nouveau concert hall, exhibition place etc. Now the exciting history of Jewish Quarter – preserved Synagogues, Franz Kafka's home... And we are ready for the first refreshment on the boat, quite good time to see more until your brains are fresh!
The Charles Bridge we'll find our way around little squares – ancient mills, Beethowens house to the Infant Jesus of Prague, and now is the time for lunch in the very local restaurant away from the main touristic route, so you can experience "our lunch culture" with every day fresh "knedlíky" and "pivo". We'll take our time, not being in a hurry, having a chat about all common practical ways of life.

This walk is conducted by enthusiastic guide, who will be very happy to chat with you about all hot topics, from man religion – football to the theme – how to prepere the czech specialty – warm dumplings, can discuss, if our politicians are as smart as yours, can compare with you school system, social security, literature, music. We tried to choose carefuly the most authentic places, with kind of spirit, amongst them Classical microbrewery U Fleku or New Town Brewery, let's go and taste our cuisine for "supermodels" – beer and fat, wine and sugar.

Old Town Square - Wenceslas Square – Narodni trida – New Town 2 world wars, 3 revolutions, finally we achieved freedom again, living in peace and democracy!
We'll concentrate on 20th century, after 1918 as split from Austrian Empire, Czech nation became a state with one of the most powerful economics in Europe but 40 years of communism destroyed nearly everything - our skills, our characters, our selfconfidence, our industry.
Now we have freedom again, do we appreciate it or not? Were there some advantages in previous system? What do local people think now, more than 15 years after the revolution? How about EU? Joseph or Anne are happy to give you all practical info and answer all your questions!
All volunteers can follow the guide by tram to the New Town district, stop by controversial Dancing House, in the pleasant restaurant behind we will watch unique amateur video ready for us about the revolution in 1989.
