Sazka Arena in Prague changes its name
Prague’s arena in Vysocany changes its sponsor and also its official name in these days. Telecommunication operator Telofónica O2 signed a contract with owner of the arena, corporation Bestsport.
Present Sazka arena will get a new shape soon. According to press release from Telefónica, O2 logos will be on three roof neon banners and the whole building will have blue lighting thanks to 670 lights, employers will dress new O2 uniforms and two O2 bars will appear inside the building. O2 and Telefónica settled on five-year cooperation and the contract comes into force on the 1st March.
In the arena, there are held concerts, hockey and other sport events. The capacity is more than 17 000 seats; there are 3 restaurants, 6 bars and 2 cafés, 51 skyboxes, 15 sportboxes and 4 partyboxes.
Telefónica O2 is also a general partner of corporation Live Nation that ensure concerts of world known stars, for example U2, Coldplay, Madonna or Rolling Stones.
Hence it is assumed that the Czech Republic can look forward to many new music experience!
