Things to do over Easter 2009 in Prague

Easter is upon us once again and as usual Prague is lot of treats. There's enough culture, eggs and special activities to keep everyone entertained - from families to hedonists - so here's our ideas for the best things to do:



Easter Markets

Most popular Easter Market will be (as every year) organized on the Old Town Square, heart of historical Prague. Start is on Saturday, 28th of March and takes untill 19th of April. Most favourite there is 12 metres over birch – Easter tree, decorated by 400 eggs and ribbons. And we can not forget recommend you Easter traditional meals as typical Czech baked Easter lamb, see receipt for make your own one here!
Another markets will be on Downtown, Wenceslas Square and also in every city part of Prague in this term.

Parks, gardens and animals

Troja complex offer from 1st of April to buy Trojan card, entrance to all part (include Zoo, Botanical Garden and Troja Castle) for attractive price 250 CZK.
Tip: Visit Easter Fair workshop at Botanical + Zoo garden, on 11st and 12nd of April, 10-17hrs.
