The last summer weekend 18-20th of September has traditionally set the scene for WORLD OF BEAUTY & SPA, a trade fair focusing on cosmetics, hairdressing, wellness and healthy living. Once again this year we will present thousands of visitors with a show of the latest trends and news planned by exhibitors for autumn and the season before Christmas as well as inspiring trends for 2010. With more than three hundred stands, visitors will be able to select products from more than four hundred and fifty brands representing professional cosmetics as well as organic cosmetics, appliances for skincare and body forming, decorative cosmetics, hand and nail care, modelling and decoration, foot care, hair care and styling techniques, wellness, spa, healthy living and the direct sale of decorative cosmetics and accessories.

The WORLD OF BEAUTY & SPA trade fair occupies a leading position among similar fairs in its field. The enticing accompanying programme certainly contributes to making this possible on several levels - from the expert workshops and lectures, above all, dedicated to the area of wellness, dermatology skincare, body forming to socially appealing shows promoting the forthcoming trends of leading make-up artists, hairdressers and fashion designers with an integral part of the programme comprising professional competitions.

Among the highlights at this specialist event, we will once again see the topic of “wellness”. Aside from lectures concerning wellness and the travel industry conducted in conjunction with the Ministry for local development as well as a range of other specialist organisations and associations, there will be workshops dedicated to aspects of active sales in wellness centres, best practices in communication with customers and team management. Those interested in retraining or pursuing further education programmes as well as those interested for instance in wellness and spa services, training and presentation blocks will be set with examples of different types of massage, wellness and spa procedures, programmes for body forming as well as how to detoxify the organism. For the target segment of visitors constantly looking for new ways to relax in pleasant surroundings, the Union of Therapeutic Spas will be there with an offer of spa programmes as well as respite and recreational stays in other facilities which provide these kind of services.
